Modern Endpoint Management – Official Group Rules
To ensure maximum clarity and compliance, group rules are organized into six sections. Each section includes a headline, a short summary, and detailed explanations with examples when necessary. This format improves readability and supports proper moderation aligned with LinkedIn’s standards.
You can watch the video for a quick overview, and below you will find all the rules in detail for further reference.
Purpose:
Rules:
- This group is not a marketing platform. Every member is expected to participate with a knowledge-sharing mindset, not a promotional one.
- Promotional content is not allowed unless explicitly pre-approved by the group administrator at info@endpoint-manager.com.
- Members should contribute content relevant to: Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows 365, Autopilot, Endpoint Security, Compliance Policies, Cloud Management, AVD, PowerShell, Identity & Access, macOS/iOS management, etc.
- Language: All posts and comments must be written in English.
- Respect: Disrespect, personal attacks, or harassment will result in moderation action.
Purpose:
To ensure high-quality and relevant discussions.
Rules:
Posting Frequency
Maximum of one post every 48 hours to avoid feed saturation and ensure visibility for all members.
Content Type
Only personal, non-commercial blog posts or technical content that adds value to the community are accepted.
Source Transparency
Post Format
Posts should be clean and easy to read. Avoid excessive emojis, capital letters, or attention-seeking formatting.
No Branding
Logos, banners, or any kind of company branding are not allowed in the post text or images.
No Promotions
Job offers, event invitations, product ads, affiliate links, or other promotional content are strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved.
No Duplicates
Do not repost old articles unless they’ve been significantly updated and a clear explanation is provided.
Additionally, avoid publishing the same post across multiple LinkedIn groups. Duplicate content is penalized by LinkedIn’s algorithm and significantly reduces visibility. Posts shared in this group must be exclusive or clearly adapted as native, original content for this community.
No LinkedIn Articles (Pulse)
Please do not share LinkedIn “Pulse” articles. These redirect engagement outside the group. Use a regular post or link to your blog to keep the discussion within the community.
No Unapproved Newsletters
Newsletters or subscription-based content—even if technical—are not allowed unless explicitly approved by the group admin in advance. Please contact us first.
No Gated Content / Mandatory Registration
Purpose:
To ensure tools and applications shared in the group meet minimum standards of transparency, security awareness, and real-world validation.
This helps protect the community while promoting high-quality contributions.
Rules:
Free and Open Access Only
Tools shared in the community must be:
Fully free to use
No mandatory registration required
No hidden paywalls or gated access
If a tool includes paid components, licensing requirements, or registration barriers, it must be pre-approved by the group administration before being shared.
IMPORTANT: Minimum Required Information
To ensure transparency, your post must include these details:
Tool Name: Name of the utility or script.
Problem it Solves: What specific pain point does it address?
Target Scenario: Who is it for? (e.g., Intune Admins, Mac Admins).
Tested in: Where was it validated? (Production, Lab, or PoC).
Required Permissions: What access is needed? (e.g., Global Admin, Local Admin).
Security Considerations: Privacy impact or sensitive data access.
Source Code Link: Direct link to GitHub or open repository
Maintenance Status: Is it Actively Maintained, Experimental, or a one-off PoC?
Identity & Security Impact
Tools affecting identity, security, or production environments must clearly state:
Validation scope
Privilege level required
Any potential operational impact
Transparency is mandatory in these cases.
Stay Relevant
Tools must relate to Endpoint Management or its ecosystem (Intune, Configuration Manager, AVD, Windows 365, Security, macOS, Automation, Deployment, Compliance, etc.).
Off-topic submissions will be removed.
Purpose:
To encourage responsible and transparent use of AI while maintaining technical quality, credibility, and trust within the community.
Rules:
Responsible AI Usage
AI-assisted content is allowed and welcomed when it helps improve technical communication, readability, documentation, or knowledge sharing.
All AI-assisted content must be reviewed, validated, and understood by the author before publishing.
AI should support technical expertise and not replace it.
Human Review Comes First
Members remain responsible for everything they publish, including:
- Scripts
- Configurations
- Recommendations
- Security guidance
- Troubleshooting steps
AI can help accelerate work, but technical understanding and validation must always come first.
Transparency Matters
AI makes it easier than ever to create blogs, tools, repositories, and technical platforms at scale. Because of this, transparency and accountability are more important than ever.
When sharing:
- AI-assisted tools
- Repositories
- Blogs
- Frameworks
- Security-related projects
- Automation utilities
The responsible author, maintainer, or organization behind the content should be clearly identifiable.
For tools, scripts, repositories, or applications, all additional transparency, validation, and maintenance requirements defined in the Tool Sharing Quality Guidelines also apply.
Real Technical Value Required
Posts should provide practical value such as:
- Troubleshooting
- Implementation experience
- Lessons learned
- Validated configurations
- Security considerations
No Fully Automated AI Posting
Automated publishing, AI spam, repetitive AI summaries, or mass-generated technical posts without human validation are not allowed.
No Anonymous or Low-Transparency Technical Sources
Websites, tools, repositories, or platforms with unclear ownership or missing author information may be removed.
- Security tools
- Baselines
- Automation frameworks
- Endpoint management utilities
Tool-related transparency requirements are additionally covered under the Tool Sharing Quality Guidelines.
No Unverified “Vibe Coded” Tools
Rapidly generated AI tools with poor validation, missing documentation, unclear maintenance, or unknown security impact are not suitable for the group.
No Misleading AI Visuals or Branding
Fake interfaces, excessive branding, misleading visuals, or clickbait-style AI imagery are not allowed.
- Human expertise
- Technical credibility
- Transparency
- Real operational experience
Purpose:
Use the Hashtag
Always include the #QuestionForGroup hashtag in your post. This makes it easier for others to identify your question and for moderators to ensure format consistency. Posts without this hashtag may be removed.
One Question per 48 Hours
Members may ask only one question every 48 hours. This allows space for other members to contribute, ensures better visibility for each post, and avoids flooding the group feed.
Clarity is Key
Your question must be clear, specific, and actionable. Avoid vague or incomplete posts. A well-formulated question helps others give more accurate and helpful answers.
Provide Context
Explain your situation. Include relevant background, what you’ve tried, which platform or product is involved (e.g., Intune, SCCM), and any error messages or configurations. The more context you give, the better the answers.
Stay on Topic
Questions must relate to Endpoint Management or its ecosystem. This includes Intune, Configuration Manager, AVD, Compliance, Automation, Deployment, and related technologies. Off-topic questions will be removed.
Be Respectful
Always be polite and professional. Avoid rude language, sarcasm, or blaming others. This is a collaborative space.
Acknowledge Responses
Follow up with those who take the time to reply. Say “thank you,” clarify your results, or update the thread if the issue was resolved. This builds community and encourages others to help in the future.
Purpose:
To ensure trust, authenticity, and professionalism across all interactions in the community. A complete and transparent LinkedIn profile is a fundamental requirement to participate in discussions and share content.
Use Your Real Identity
Members must use their real full name as shown on their LinkedIn profile. Anonymous, abbreviated, or nickname-only profiles are not allowed for publishing.
Professional Profile Photo
Your profile must include a clear, recognizable photo of yourself. Company logos, AI avatars, cartoons, blank images, or icons are not accepted.
Relevant Work Information
Include at least one job title and company, past or present, that reflects your professional background—preferably in IT, Endpoint Management, or related areas.
Technical Alignment
The group is reserved for professionals in technical or IT-related roles. Profiles focused on sales, marketing, business development, HR or recruitment may be restricted from posting unless approved.
No Fake or Incomplete Profiles
Profiles that lack essential professional details, appear suspicious, or seem AI-generated will be removed.
No Duplicate Accounts
Only one account per real person is allowed in the group. Duplicate or alternate profiles will be flagged and removed.
This LinkedIn group is owned, managed, and moderated by Endpoint Solutions SL, a legally registered company responsible for ensuring proper governance, community protection, and compliance with applicable standards.
